We are delighted and proud to announce a new platform which BISLA in collaboration with 8 prominent Slovak institutions of higher education established on the 17th of November, 2020!

“We are convinced that it is the rectors who should not be silent these days and that their voice in the public space should be much more vocal and more open than it has been so far.

For these reasons, we are establishing a platform that is open to all rectors of Slovak colleges and universities. We want to emphasize that even the SRK (Slovak Rector Conference) is not homogeneous, although its presidium strives for such an image. Rectors should be prominent personalities who are not afraid to present controversial or minority opinions, if they are convinced of their correctness and value anchoring.
