Katalin Nun Stewart is an independent scholar, writer, and researcher. She received her PhD in German Studies at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main in Germany (2000). She has also a Teaching Credential from the Eötvös Loránd University Budapest (1993) and a Journalism Degree from the Danish School of Journalism (2005). Her main academic research interests are women’s studies and European history, culture and literature of the 19^th and 20^th centuries. She has published books on the history of women in Denmark in the 19^th century and on German and Hungarian youth literature in its social-political context from 1945 to 1989.
